Hair Cut

On Friday, Adam decided to trim his hair and after left the hair clippers out on our bathroom counter. While we were watching the NFR, Zac and Logan were watching Bob the Builder in our bedroom. After a while we couldn't hear them. Adam when to check on them and found them in our bathroom. Zac was sitting on the counter with Logan between his legs giving him a new hair cut!

New Puppy!!

Hey Everyone! Guess what we have a new family member. A friend of ours had puppys and sold them all. A week ago one of them came and told she was moving away to college and couldn't take him. So, our dear friend called us to see if we would take him in! How could we say no to this cute face! The boys love him and won't leave him alone.

Happy Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun this year! Zac was Optimus Prime and Logan was a Bat. We went trick or treating down town and then went to a couple of friends houses. They got a lot of candy for little boys! After trick or treating we went back to Nana's house for dinner and Aunt Sharee had made a witch's brew with root beer. It was very cool and Zac and Logan thought is was very neat! The weather was alright. It was a little chilly with the wind but the boys had warm costumes, so they kept very warm. This year was one of the best Halloween's so far because Adam was able to come with us (he didn't go up hunting this year) and Zac and Logan understood Halloween a little more this year. It was a great night and I can't wait for all the many more Halloweens to come!

Long Time No See

Well it has been almost a year since I've blogged, so I thought I better get back into things again. A lot has happened. For one, I have stated school again at Northwest College in Powell. I am taking classes for veterinary assistant. I am hoping to be done next fall. Right now I am only taking two classes but I total love them. Zac has started preschool and loves his teacher, Mrs. Little and all his new friends. Logan and Zac are also attending day care. That was very hard but they are really enjoying playing with all their new friends. I will post some new pictures next time from Halloween.

Newest member of our Family

We just wanted to announce that we got a Puppy. She is a Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix, we got her in Powell were her mom and five other siblings were abandoned. We have named her Pepper, and it does feel as if we have a new baby in the family. She cries in the middle of the night and we have to take her potty all the time. She has brought so much joy to the boys. Zac and Pepper already have a bond; if he is around she will not leave his side. She is Zac's dog not ours. We even get the other Barton boys over to play with Pepper. They love her just as much as Zac and Logan.

Snowmobiling

Along with sledding at the cabin we were able to ride Ted & Teresa's snowmobiles. This was the first time I have ridden one and it was a blast. Zac finally rode one with me and he liked it but it got really cold because he didn't want to wear a helmet, but he was wearing daddy's snow boarding goggles.

Sledding at the Bullock Cabin

About three weeks ago we were able to go to the Bullock cabin with our friends, Ted & Teresa Bullock and enjoy all the snow we had been receiving. Zac loved the snow and sledding. He would make snow balls and throw them at us, but most of all he loved going fast down the hill on the sled. Logan on the other had was a little unsure about the snow and cold weather fun. When we put on Logan's snow suit, he was so bundled up he could hardly move. Adam and I thought of the movie the Christmas Story. When Logan fell he couldn't get up. It was very funny from our point of view but not his.

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and had fun bringing in the new year. We had a great white Christmas. Zachary was so excited when he walked out and saw his red logging truck awaiting him. He also got a skiddy tractor, books, and car characters from the movie Cars. That is his favorite movie and he loves playing with his Mac and lighting McQueen. Logan was a little overwhelmed but was very excited when he opened up his animal farm. We enjoyed staying home and spending our first Christmas in our own home, but we did miss all our family who we were not able to see.

Dear Santa

Zachary and Logan got to sit on Santa's lap at the Meeteetse Ward Christmas party. Neither on was real sure about sitting on his lap, but Zachary made sure that Santa knew he wanted a logging truck.

Happy Halloween,

Yes I am very behind! Zachary and Logan had so much fun on Halloween. We went trick or treating down town with Nana, Tanner, Wyatt, Stacy, and Spencer. Adam was up at hunting camp. Zac was a big not so scary Dragon and Logan was the sweet smelling Skunk!
